muzz always stuck a prune in the middle of these heavy babies (or a date) but these are just as nice without. they fill you up as well, which is good for those of us working on our fluffy-ness. as muzz always says, "ewe's not fat, ewe's fluffy!"
As a child I would travel--by myself--to my grandmother's once a year for two weeks vacation. My grandfather (Pops) would drive me around in his VW, and I would swim every day. I remember the hum of muzz's sewing machine--she made beautiful dolls, crocheted little squares, pieced quilts, sewed doll clothes. She would cook me oddities like Welsh Rarebit or Creamed Toast for dinner and we always had a little bit of chocolate for dessert. Muzz inspired me to again pick up my crochet needle a few years ago, and the crafting hasn't stopped.
